Product Information:
The Model 430B, 12 Lead ECG Simulator provides a complete PQRST waveform with six preset rates to select from (60, 75, 100, 120, 150, and 200 BPM). There are also six preset amplitude levels to select from (0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 mV) which are +/- 2% referred to lead 1. Model 430 is powered by a 9-volt battery with an approximate battery life of 500 hours, and also features a low battery indicator. The output connectors are 5 ECG snap plus 10 - banana jacks. Output impedance is less than 150 ohms.
Operation Instructions:
1.Connect lead wires to top of Model 430 simulator.
2.Turn the simulator on by pressing ON-OFF switch. LED on front panel will flash at the same frequency as the selected rate.
3.Rate or beats per minute (BPM) is selected by pressing the desired RATE-BPM switch.
4.RATE-BPM SELECT switch determines if RATE-BPM is indicated on top or bottom of RATE-BPM switch. Press RATE-BPM SELECT switch (switch in) to activate rates below RATE-BPM switch. (120-150-200 BPM)
5.Amplitude is selected by pressing the desired AMPLITUDE switch. Amplitudes are in milli-volts.
6.AMPLITUDE SELECT switch determines if AMPLITUDE is indicated on top or bottom of AMPLITUDE switch. Press AMPLITUDE SELECT switch (switch in) to activate amplitudes below AMPLITUDE switch. (1.0-2.0-5.0 millivolts)
7.Battery needs replaced when front panel LED stops flashing.
